Jonesboro man dies in one-vehicle wreck

A Jonesboro man was killed Saturday evening after he lost control of his vehicle in a curve, authorities said.
Kyle Wayne Shipman, 27, was driving south a little after 7:30 p.m. on U.S. 63 at Arkansas 149 when he lost control of his vehicle and it overturned, Arkansas State Police said.
The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident, the state police wrote in a crash report.
Shipman was the 501st to die in person to die in a traffic accident in Arkansas this year, according to preliminary figures.
