Lottery Commission to meet in Russellville

RUSSELLVILLE — The Arkansas Lottery Commission is to meet at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville as the panel awaits changes by the Legislature in the format for lottery-funded scholarships.
The commission is to meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Rothwell Hall and is to hear from Arkansas Tech President Robert Brown and two recipients of lottery scholarships.
The composition of the Legislative Lottery Oversight Committee will change once the Legislature convenes in January with newly-elected members, so the new scholarship parameters won’t be set until the coming session.
