Easter Seals to open new training, wellness center

— Easter Seals Arkansas is getting ready to open a training and wellness center for disabled adults.

The center in Little Rock near the intersection of Cantrell and Taylor Loop roads is to be dedicated Wednesday.

Adult education classes at the center will be modified for the needs of individuals, and the 43,000-square-foot center is expected to serve 300 disabled adults at a time.

Instruction will include, living skills, technology, health and nutrition, and therapeutic recreation and fitness.

The center will also offer employment training and placement.
