Homicide investigation under way after 20-year-old found dead

Authorities in Baxter County say the death of a 20-year-old man is being investigated as a homicide.
Sheriff John Montgomery said in a statement that the man, whose name was not released, was found dead about 10:45 p.m. at 1251 Highway 178 West in Midway.
Authorities are not releasing the manner of death, saying only that the body was discovered after ambulance crews were dispatched in reference to an "unresponsive male."
Montgomery said investigators have interviewed several people but have not made an arrest. He said the work is "continuing" with searches Thursday of three separate residences believed to be tied to the case.
"No further details can be released at the present time," Montgomery said in the statement.
