LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says motorists can expect lane restrictions next week during work on the Broadway Bridge and U.S. 67/167 in Pulaski County.
The agency said in a statement that the southbound, outside lane of the span between Little Rock and North Little Rock will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. Crews will be replacing electrical wiring.
Crews repairing guardrails, meanwhile, will close the northbound, outside lane of Highway 67/167 near the Main Street exit in Jacksonville from Monday through Thursday. That restriction will be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.
Elsewhere in the state, an inspection on the Interstate 55 bridge over the Mississippi River will require alternating lane closures in each direction Monday through Thursday. That restriction will also last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
The highway department says motorists "should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones."
