I-540 lane closure planned in Van Buren

A bridge repair in Van Buren will cause restrictions on Interstate 540 between Highway 64 and Highway 59 starting Monday, the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department said in a release.
The repair will require the southbound lanes of I-540 between Highway 64, the Alma Highway, and Highway 59, South 4th Street, to be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday and continuing through Friday, the release states.
The department urges motorists to be cautious while traveling through this area during those times.
