EARLIER:

Authorities in Lonoke County are searching for a radio show host who didn't show up for work Friday morning.

Sheriff's office Lt. Jim Kulesa said authorities are working to determine the whereabouts of Willard E. Moran III, also known as DC McGehee of the "Heather and DC" morning show on Alice 107.7.

Kulesa said McGehee didn't show up for his scheduled shift Friday, which prompted family members to go to his home on Kerr Station Road in Cabot.

McGehee's vehicle was there, but there was no sign of him or any sign of forced entry, Kulesa said.

Authorities were searching the wooded area around the home early Friday afternoon, Kulesa said, adding that it is protocol in such cases. They hadn't found signs of anything suspicious, he said.

"Right now we're treating it as a missing person," Kulesa said.

A message left with the radio station wasn't immediately returned Friday afternoon.
