MAURICE McJIMPSON DUHART, 79, of Little Rock, Ark .,went home to be with her Lord on December 5, 2012. She was born May 21, 1933, in Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Cora Daniels McJimpson;two brothers, Arthur Curry and Leroy McJimpson; two sisters, Sarah McJimpson and Bernice Whitmore; and one son, Dwight Duhart. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Courtney and Derrick of Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Sherelyn of Atlanta, Ga., Wana of Little Rock, Ark., and Teresa of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Luke McJimpson Jr. and Bill McJimpson of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Lenora Hopkins of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother-in-law, Rufus Whitmore of Little Rock, Ark.; two sistersin-law, Juanita Curry and Bernice McJimpson of Little Rock, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; 22 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

CARLISLE - Beatrice Norman Gable, 77, of Carlisle, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord December 6th, 2012. She was born February 2nd, 1935, in Carlisle, Arkansas, to Louis Dee Ellis and Annie Grace Payne Ellis. Beatrice worked at Zimmerman Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Darla Mahoney; one brother: Floyd Ellis; two sisters: Ruby Thomas and Anne Harrison; one grandson: Leslie Setzer. She is survived by one son: Billy Ray Norman and his wife Wanda of Carlisle, Arkansas; one daughter: Lottie Mitchell and her husband David of England, Arkansas; one sister: Louise Haney of North Carolina; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Services will be graveside Monday, December 10th, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Old Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday, December 9th, 2012, at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939 from 6-8 p.m.

CROSSETT - Gerald Wayne Johnson, age 72, of Crossett, Ark., passed away on December 6, 2012. He was born on March 11, 1940, in Crossett, Ark., to his parents, Rubel and LaDelle Sisson Johnson. Dr. Johnson graduated from Medical School in 1966 from UAMS. His post graduate work was at Baylor UniversityMedical Center and the University of Texas. Dr. Johnson was a Captain and Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, having received two Bronze Stars, and was recommended fora Purple Heart. He was a wellknown plastic surgeon in Houston, Texas, and an inventor of numerous surgical procedures and medical instruments.

Dr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jeffrey Wayne Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Lana Johnson of Crossett, Ark.; one daughter, Jennifer Barnard (Shawn) of Hot Springs, Ark.; two step-daughters, Carrie Goff of Austin, Texas, Lori Davis of Crossett, Ark.; two sisters, Judy Izard (Ralph) of Benton, Ark., Nancy Davis (Gary) of Garland, Texas; nine grandchildren, Kristen, Kevin, Kameron, Ashley, J.J., Johnathon, Jeremy, Aimee, Curry; two great-grandchildren, Connor, Gage; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and many friends.

DEWITT - Altus Eugene Boyd, affectionately known as the “Chief,” 79, died December 7, 2012. He was born June 24, 1933, in Almyra to David Burley and Pearl Rail Boyd. Eugene was a retired farmer, an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Administrative Board, and served on the board of directors of Growers Elevator.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria Belle Rowland Boyd; son, Richard Wayne Boyd; and brother, Bobby Joe Boyd. Survivors include his two daughters and their husbands, Traci Boyd-Davis and Dale of DeWitt and J’Ann Boyd Lessenberry and Lee of Bryant; daughter-in-law, RayLyn Boyd Goudelock of DeWitt; two brothers, David Richard Boyd of Almyra and James Burley Boyd of DeWitt; one sister, Shirley Ann Perry of DeWitt; seven grandchildren, Lydia Boyd Davis, Megan Conley Boyd, Ashlyn Belle Lessenberry, Bailey Lane Lessenberry, Hayden Chance Lessenberry, Lauren Elizabeth Lessenberry, and Robert Ryan Lessenberry; longtime friend Walter Ray Simmons; and many nieces and nephews.

FAYETTEVILLE - Billy Earl Clampit, age 65, of Fayetteville, formerly of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at his home. He was born April 22, 1947, in Drew County, Ark., to the late Nervin N. Clampit and Lera Francis Campbell Clampit. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, a professional musician and of the Baptist faith.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Clampit. Survivors include his daughter, Candy Hamilton of Texarkana, Texas; his brother, Jed Clampit of Fayetteville; a grandson, Craig Hamilton of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews.

PINE BLUFF - Emma Jean Reed Procell, 93, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, December 6, 2012. She was born January 8, 1919, in Rison, Arkansas, daughter of James and Katherine Woolley Reed. Mrs. Procell was reared and received her early education in Rison andPine Bluff. She worked as a rental supervisor for Tenark. Mrs. Procell was a charter member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star,Amarance Christiana Court #3, AARP and Horizon Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Procell, whom she married May 9, 1942 in Pine Bluff; her parents; brother, James “Jim” Reed of Thorncrown Eureka Springs; and Mary Frances Green of Pine Bluff. Survivors include two sons, J.E. Procell, Jr. of Nocona, Texas and Larry Procell of Pine Bluff; sister, Zelma Hankins of Eureka Springs; four grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., at First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Robert Cossey officiating. SEARCY - George “Bud” Osborn, 80 of Searcy passed fromthis life on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. He was born August 30, 1932 in Garner, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Winnie Freeman Osborn. Bud was a charter member of TempleBaptist Church in Searcy; was a member of the Masonic Lodge; and served as Justice of the Peace since 1993.

He is preceded in death also by his wife, Loretta Tucker Osborn; son, William Tony Osborn; three sisters and four brothers. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Portia Routon and husband Raymond of Tyronza;Amy Johnson and husband Mark of Searcy; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Osborn and wife Mary Lou of Searcy; Charlie Osborn and wife Sue of Searcy; several nieces, nephews and friends.

MEMPHIS - David Derrell Allison, 79, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away December 5, 2012. He was born in England, Arkansas to Joe Lafayette Allison and Rosie Etta Thompson Allison and was a member of the Al Chymia Shrine and the Royal Order of Jesters. He was a United States Air Force veteran.

Preceded in death by his parents, a sister and three brothers, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary McDonald Allison; children, Jim Allison (Dinah) of Memphis, Joe Allison (Laura) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Jeff Allison (Beth) of Collierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lindsey Allison, Carrie Allison, Ryan Allison (Leigh), Brent Allison,Tara Allison and Jessica Grashot (Tony); three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Allison of Sugarland, Texas.
