Authorities say they were called about 9:10 p.m. to the area of East Broadway and Redwood streets in reference to shots being fired in the area.

According to a North Little Rock Police Department arrest report, investigators met up with Jacksonville residents Tricia Fleming and Eddie T. Davis, who indicated a man shot a single round while they were parked at 2800 E. Broadway St. Neither was hit.

Davis told police that the same man had pulled two handguns on him on the sidewalk.

The report did not specify a possible motive.

The victims described the gunman and directed police to a nearby residence where he went after shooting, the report said.

Police found Pennington inside. They say he acknowledged possessing a pistol while making contact with Davis but said he "never pulled it out."

The gun was not found.
