— Bret Bielema has convinced two more members of his Wisconsin staff to join him at Arkansas.

Mark Taurisani, director of football operations, and Chris Hauser, on-campus recruiting coordinator, will join the Razorbacks' football program, it was announced Monday.

Taurisani was at Wisconsin for all of Bielema's seven-year tenure and has been the Badgers' director of football operations the past three seasons.

“Mark Taurisani brings many years of experience in football operations to our program,” Bielema said. “He is knowledgeable in his craft and has demonstrated great attention to detail and also the hard work necessary to be the best and keep our program running smoothly and efficiently. Mark has been an essential member of my staff for the past seven years and I’m looking forward to having him join us at Arkansas.”

The on-campus recruiting coordinator position, which will be held by Hauser, became well-known by Arkansas fans in April when then-on-campus recruiting coordinator Jessica Dorrell was involved in Bobby Petrino's motorcycle accident, that led to his admittance of an "inappropriate relationship" and eventual firing.

Hauser is Arkansas' fourth on-campus recruiting coordinator in the calendar year. He is replacing Nick Holt, who took the job during the summer. Holt had previously been the defensive coordinator for the Washington Huskies.

An Akron graduate, Hauser also worked at Wisconsin's Big Ten foe, Ohio State. He was the Buckeyes' defensive quality control coach in addition to working with linebackers for three seasons after spending one year as a graduate assistant. He was also Capital University's defensive coordinator and Toledo's director of high school relations before taking the Badgers' on-campus recruiting coordinator job for one season.

“Chris Hauser will make a great addition to our program,” Bielema said. “He has shown tremendous work ethic throughout his career, and his hiring is another step in compiling the best staff in the country. In his role, he will be an important piece of attracting not only the players we are bringing to Fayetteville but the person. Chris has demonstrated he understands our system, ideas and beliefs and he will work to identify and recruit student-athletes who fit into the culture of our program.”
