Driver killed when car hits pole in LR

— Police say a driver has died after being ejected from his vehicle when it hit a utility pole in Little Rock early Monday.

The Little Rock Police Department says Corliss L. Terrell, of Little Rock, was driving in the area of Confederate Boulevard and Willard Street when he lost control of his vehicle. It happened about 1:30 a.m.

According to a preliminary report, Terrell was ejected after the vehicle veered off the road and struck the pole. He was pronounced dead at UAMS Medical Center about an hour later.
