LITTLE ROCK — An 84-year-old Little Rock woman was dragged along the ground after her purse was snatched by a woman in a vehicle that then sped off, police said.
It happened about 1:45 p.m. Sunday at 8801 Base Line Road.
Police say two witnesses told them Gussie Bridges was dragged alongside a maroon Nissan Frontier when a woman inside the vehicle snatched the purse she was clutching.
Bridges was taken to St. Vincent Hospital for treatment of multiple lacerations to her hands and feet and swelling to the left side of her forehead.
The purse snatchers are described only as a black man and a black woman.
No arrests have been made.
