LITTLE ROCK Authorities are looking for three men who held up a Taco Bell/KFC restaurant and some of the customers inside in the latest in a string of recent fast food business robberies in Little Rock.
Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said it's not known if the latest robbery, which occurred about 8 p.m. Tuesday at the location at 4424 W. Markham St., is tied to any of the others in recent days.
"At this point, we can't say," Davis said. "We're looking at it to see if it's related."
According to an incident report, the robbers entered the restaurant brandishing guns and forced the manager to open the safe. After getting that cash, they ordered the customers to the ground and robbed some of them of their wallets.
No injuries were reported.
The robbers are described as black men who were wearing dark hoodies and dark pants with bandannas covering their faces. They left the area on foot.
The Taco Bell/KFC robbery comes on the heels of several business robberies in recent weeks in Little Rock, including some at other fast food restaurants. The Wendy's at 10623 W. Markham St. was robbed Sunday night and another Wendy's at 7312 Cantrell Road was held up Dec. 12. Early Monday morning, a robber attempted to hold up the Taco Bell at 9600 N. Rodney Parham Road.
No arrests have been made in any of the cases.
