The pair, along with an unidentified man, entered Urban Swagg, a clothing store at 315 N. Bowman Road, about 4:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.

One of the men approached the owner, Dexter Mitchell, 27, and asked for a pair of shoes. The man then displayed a semiautomatic pistol and pointed the weapon at Mitchell, according to a police report.

Mitchell pushed the pistol away and the two struggled for the weapon, the report stated. Mitchell said the three struck him in the face and head, then bound his hands and feet as well as those of his girlfriend, the report stated.

The robbers then left the store with expired concert tickets and $200 taken from Mitchell’s girlfriend, the report said.

Mitchell managed to free himself and run after the men. He fired six shots toward them and one of the men fired back, police said. No one was hit.

Police did not explain how the Walkers were developed as persons of interest in the case and did not say if they are related.
