BROOKLAND — A body found in a ditch alongside U.S. 49B near Brookland has been identified as a 41-yearold Brookland man.
Craighead County sheriff’s investigator Gary Etter said the body is that of Michael Thomas Epley. Etter said Epley’s body was found across from a golf course by motorists Thursday.
Etter said foul play is not suspected but that the body has been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
