Man shot at LR apartment complex

LITTLE ROCK — A Little Rock man was shot in the leg Sunday as he got out of his car at an apartment complex.
Antwon Smith, 22, told police he was getting out of the vehicle about 2:20 p.m.at 9400 Stagecoach Road when he heard what sounded like a firecracker.
According to a Little Rock Police Department report, he felt a burning sensation in his leg as he walked up the complex stairs and noticed he had been shot in the lower left leg.
Smith then drove to UAMS Medical Center for treatment. The report describes the wound as minor.
Two 9mm shells were later recovered at the scene by police. No arrests were made.
