— Robbed man collars suspect

A Benton man subdued one of the two men who he said robbed him outside a Little Rock Wal-Mart store on Monday, police reports said.

Larry Wilson went to the Wal-Mart store Monday at 700 S. Bowman Road to sell a computer to an unknown man he had met on Craigslist, the report states.

Wilson was met at the store by two men who asked him toshow them the laptop.

One of the men said, “’Is that what you want?’ and the other guy said, ‘Yeah,’ then the gun came out,” Wilson said in the report.

One man grabbed the computer and ran toward the store, while the gunman ran in theopposite direction.

Wilson ran after the gunman, who struck Wilson in the head with the gun at least once, police reports say. Wilson and the gunman crossed South Bowman Road several times during the chase before Wilson subdued him.

Avery Williams, 21, of 1817 Reservoir Road was arrested and charged with felony theft of property and aggravated robbery.

He remained Wednesday afternoon at the Pulaski County jail, where he was being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
