2.2-magnitude temblor strikes near Quitman

A magnitude-2.2 earthquake shook Thursday afternoon about 7 miles northwest of Quitman, the U.S. Geological Survey said Friday.
The temblor, which struck a little before 3:45 p.m. about 49 miles north of Little Rock, was shallow, about half a mile beneath the surface, the survey said.
There were no reports of damage.
