— FOOTBALL Klenakis candidate at Nevada

Former Arkansas offensive line coach Chris Klenakis, who finished up his third season on the Razorbacks coaching staff, is on the short list of candidates to replace Nevada Coach Chris Ault, who announced Friday he was retiring after 28 years at the school, according to a source familiar with the coaching search.

Klenakis coached at Nevada from 1990-99 and was offensive coordinator from 1997-99. He was the first offensive coordinator in NCAA history to lead the nation in rushing offense in 2009 and passing offense in 1997.
