LITTLE ROCK — A Jacksonville woman died Saturday after her pickup collided with another truck in Pulaski County, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality accident report.
Shortly before 2 p.m., Kimberly M. Whitmire, 35, was driving north on Arkansas 107, just north of Arkansas89, in her pickup when she crossed into the opposite lane and struck a southbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by Andrew H. Jepko, 45, of Jacksonville, the report states.
Whitmire died at the scene. Jepko was taken to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock. The extent of his injuries and his condition were not available Saturday evening.
