LITTLE ROCK Interstate 30 has reopened after a tractor-trailer carrying a highly flammable liquid caught fire Friday, forcing the eastbound lanes to close.
Traffic was detoured for about two hours, but the roadway was re-opened shortly after noon, highway officials said.
The trailer was carrying hexane, a colorless liquid made from crude oil and used industrially to as a cleaning agent and in special glues.
The trailer was not involved in an accident with any other vehicle, state police said. No injuries were reported.
