Geena Davis to speak on gender balance in entertainment industry

Geena Davis will speak Feb. 7 at the Wally Allen Ballroom of the Statehouse Convention Center.
LITTLE ROCK — Actor Geena Davis will speak tonight about gender stereotypes and how females are portrayed in the entertainment industry at the Wally Allen Ballroom of the Statehouse Convention Center at 6 p.m.
She is the founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, an organization that strives to reduce gender stereotyping and change the portrayal of females in children's entertainment.
