Geena Davis to speak on gender balance in entertainment industry

LITTLE ROCK Actor Geena Davis will speak tonight about gender stereotypes and how females are portrayed in the entertainment industry at the Wally Allen Ballroom of the Statehouse Convention Center at 6 p.m.
She is the founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, an organization that strives to reduce gender stereotyping and change the portrayal of females in children's entertainment.
