DAWN BOHANNON, age 52, of Little Rock, passed away Friday,Feb. 10, 2012. She was born Aug. 17, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. She was a 1978 graduate of J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas and a 1982 graduate of Stephen F. AustinState University in Nacogdoches, Texas. In addition to her work at the Little Rock Zoo, Dawn loved giving her time and talents to help others.

Dawn was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Little Rock where she was involved in the handbell choir, the telephone ministry, the birthday card ministry (which she started) and the nursery reading program. She also played piano for the residents of Presbyterian Village and frequently knitted gifts for her family and friends.

Prior to moving to Little Rock, she volunteered at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dawn is survived by: her parents, Charles and Donna Bohannon of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Tad Bohannon and wife, Gayle of Little Rock; and one nephew, Spencer Bohannon of Little Rock.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at First United Methodist Church of Little Rock with the Reverend Michael Mattox officiating. There will be an open visitation from noon to 9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas, with the Reverend Hal Habecker officiating. JEAN BARBER FLEETWOOD, age 83, a native of Monette, Ark .,and a resident of Briarwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Little Rock for the past several years, passed away Feb. 11, 2012. Survived by her son, Rick Fleetwood of Little Rock; shewas predeceased by her husband, Jess Fleetwood, Jr.; her parents Grover and Lula Barber; six sisters and one brother.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Fleetwood worked as a buyer and bridal consultant for over 20 years at Goldsmith’s (now Macy’s) in Memphis, Tenn. She provided excellent service to brides from around the country, many of whom stayed in contact with her. Special thanks is extended to the nurses and staff of Briarwood Nursing Center for their love and care of Mrs. Fleetwood.

A member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, Mrs. Fleetwood's service, arranged by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501) 224-8300, will be held at the Church at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, with Dr. Jeffrey B. JOANN STORY, 77, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012. She was born Jan. 22, 1935, in Biggers to the late Silas Turner and the late Lela Turner. Mrs. Story was a homemaker, loved crocheting and baking. But most importantly she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Jesse “Jack” Story; and daughter Pamela Lambert. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Eddie Ray Story and wife Kathleen Story of Benton; brother Tom Turner of Texas; three grandchildren, Cody Story of Benton, Amanda Story Bair and husband Eric Bair of Alexander, and Phillip Lambert of Cabot. ANNA LITA LUCY WRIGHT, of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. She was born in Witherspoon, Ark. in Hot Spring County on April 30, 1917 to Joseph and Della Lucy. She graduated from Arkadelphia High School.Mrs. Wright was a Coast Guard Veteran of World War II and attended College of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark. She has lived in Little Rock since 1953 and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and numerous community and school organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carleton B. Wright. Mrs. Wright is survived by: her sister, Mary Scallorn of Dallas, Texas; her son, Brian (Terry); daughter, Carla (Richard) Hill; grandsons Richard (Amanda) Hill, Jr., and Britt Hill; and her great grandson Hunter Hill all of Little Rock.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 11:30 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park. ALEXANDER - Francis Rene LaRiviere, 59, of Alexanderpassed away on Feb. 10, 2012, with his family by his side. Francis was born on May 4, 1952, to the late Edward Leo and Etta Angeline LaRiviere in Newport News, Va. He was a masterplumber and was the owner of LaRiviere Plumbing Company for over 20 years. Francis loved to mine for diamonds and gold and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Carol Wilkins. Francis is survived by his daughter, Angela Michelle Fitzhugh; son, Timothy Ryan LaRiviere; grandson, Thomas W. Fitzhugh III (TJ); brother, Michael E. CLINTON - Russell “Rusty” Cope, age 44, of Clinton, Ark., passedaway Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his home. He was born March 17, 1967 in Tracy, Calif., to George Arthur Cope and Patricia (Lewis) Beasley. He married Wendy Cope on March 29, 2005. He wasa sheet rocker, a member of the New Beginnings Church, loved the Razorbacks and fishing, and was a great husband, father and son.

He lost the battle but won the war of two long years with cancer. He is survived by his wife; parents; step-son, Creed Chadwick; daughter, Shelby Cope; and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clovis and Claudia Lewis and Arthur and Monica Cope.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 at Roller-McNutt in Clinton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Clinton. JONESBORO - Frank Joseph Brunner Jr., 79, of Jonesboro, formerly of Marked Tree, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 12, 2012, at the NEA Baptist Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Harry Hill Sunday School Class.

Frank was a 50 year member of the Arkansas Pharmacy Association. He served on the Marked Tree School Board for 20 years with thelast years being the school board president. Frank also served on the board of the Marked Tree Bank. Frank graduated from UAMS School of Pharmacy in June 1955 and began working in the family business, John and Frank Inc.

In 1990 he became the sole owner of John and Frank Pharmacy until his retirement in 2001. He loved his career, mostly due to his relationship with his customers and his community. He continued to work as a pharmacist in the Greer’s Ferry Lake area and volunteered at the Christian Health Center in Heber Springs, Ark.

Frank was preceded in death by: his father Frank Joseph Brunner Sr. and mother, Hadassah Brunner; sister, Ann Neel and husband Bob Neel.

Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Carla Brunner; sons, Philip Gardner Brunner of Jonesboro; Stewart Louis Brunner of Mountain Home, Ark.; daughter, Elizabeth Brunner Morrison and husband Thad of Van Buren, Ark.; six grandchildren: Brittany Milligan and husband Kenny of Jonesboro, Eric Joseph Brunner of Columbia, Mo., Michael, Mary, Hattie and Zoe Morrison of Van Buren; four great grandchildren, Madison, Maizy, Marleigh, Mackay; brother-in-law, Chuck Gardner and wife Betty of Little Rock; special cousins, Sister Henrietta Hockle, Greg Thielemier and his wife Becky, all of Jonesboro; Gene Brunner and wife Coletta of Pocahontas; Wilma Wren; BobThielemier and wife, Mary all of Engleberg, Ark., and Pat Thielemier of Pocahontas, Ark.; four nephews and one niece.

MALVERN - Glenville Rhodes, age 87, of Malvern, died Friday,Feb. 10, 2012, in the Hot Spring County Medical Center. He was born in the Brush Creek Community in Grant County on Sept. 23, 1924, to the late Alton Rhodes and Clarice Fitzhugh Rhodes. Movingto Malvern at age 11 with his family, he received his early education here, graduating from Malvern High School in 1942.

Glenville was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. On June 8, 1947, he married Wilda Juanita Goza, his high school sweetheart. She preceded him in death in 2001. As a young man, Glenville worked indowntown Malvern for his Aunt Bessie Rhodes in her business, Rhodes Department Store. He began his banking career in 1942 with Malvern National Bank as teller and bookkeeper, and was its youngest assistant cashier in the bank’s history.

In 1954 he was offered and accepted the position of Vice President and Director of the Benton State Bank. In 1955, Glenville began a long association with the Bank of Malvern. Through the years he served as Assistant Executive Vice President, Vice President, Executive Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board. He retired from Bank of Malvern in 1983.

He was on the Board of Directors at Southern State Bank until 1999 when he retired from banking. Glenville was also a licensed realtor and had worked for McClure Real Estate. His community involvement includes: past president and board member of Malvern Chamber of Commerce, Hot Spring County Industrial Development Commission,past president of Malvern Country Club, past president Young Businessmen’s Club, past president Malvern Kiwanis and Malvern Rotary Clubs, Ouachita Development Council, Rockport Lodge No. 58 F&AM, VFW, past Chairman of Board of Deacons and member of First Baptist Church.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Elizabeth Rhodes of Denver, Colo., and Marsha Rhodes Crownover and her husband, Jim of Chesterfield, Va.; by a brother-in-law, Paul Goza of Malvern; and by a niece and nephews, Sharon Goza Wheeler, David Goza, Gary Goza, and John Goza.

Glenville was also preceded in death by a sister, Jo Ann Rhodes Hogan.

Graveside service with military honors will be ten o’clock on Thursday morning, Feb. 16, 2012, in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Brother Tyler Thompson officiating and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow at eleven o’clock in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, after which the family will receive friends in the church’s Family Life Center.

Pallbearers are Jim Funk, Jim Ross, Kinney Black, William Mitchell, Mark Roberts, and Roger Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers are Jim Sims, Jack Phillips, Howard Corder, Mark Kindy, Dennis Morris, and deacons of First Baptist Church.

A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to Glenville’s special friends and caregivers, including Rosie Ballard, Loretta Simpson, Beverly Puckett, Tara White, and Faye Wicklum, now a resident of North Carolina.
