Here is a list of some Valentine's Day events that you and your special someone can do to celebrate.

Sing sweet

Have a laugh

The Loony Bin Valentine's Day show will begin at 8 p.m. The comedy club offers a variety of sweetheart packages. For more information, visit www.loonybincomedy.com.

Dine (and maybe wine)

Vieux Carre will serve dinner from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. A chef's favorites' menu will offer items a la carte. The restaurant will also have several wine specials.

The Afterthought will host a champagne and chocolate tasting event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. Local harpist Allen Alverson will play romantic music. The cost is $10 per person. The Tuesday Night Jam will play from 8 p.m. until midnight.

The Victorian Garden will serve a Valentine’s Day dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Specials include an appetizer for two with stuffed mushrooms, gouda cheese crepes or a cup of strawberry soup. Sweet endings include a dessert for two with crème brulee, chocolate crème de menthe and chocolate covered strawberries, carrot cake or French silk pie with whipped cream.

Take a trip

The Arkansas Queen will hold a dinner trip on the Arkansas River for $59.95, which includes a full-course dinner. Boarding begins at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 and 14. For more information, visit www.arkansasqueen.com.
