Huckabee in Hot Springs to stump for Rankin

HOT SPRINGS Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is scheduled to host a fundraiser for a Republican congressional candidate.
The event for Beth Ann Rankin will be held Wednesday morning at the Hot Springs Country Club.
Rankin worked in the governor’s office for seven years while Huckabee was governor. She was a liaison to Capitol Hill, the White House, the National Governors Association and federal agencies.
Rankin is vying for the seat being vacated by Democrat Mike Ross, who has decided not to seek re-election. Two other Republicans and two Democrats also are seeking the post.
