LITTLE ROCK — Carol and George Dawson of Little Rock will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Oak Park Baptist Church. The couple were married March 1, 1952. She is the former Carol Guinn and retired from the Federal Reserve Bank. He is retired from Little Rock Municipal Water Works. They are the parents of Janice Hodges of Little Rock.
CROSSETT - Edna and Mike Young celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a reception at their home. The couple were married Feb. 25, 1962. She is the former Edna Jenkins and a registered nurse with the Ashley County Health Department. He is retired from Georgia Pacific. They are the parents of Michael Young of Crossett and Christy Peterson of Hot Springs. The couple have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
June and Thomas E. Mc-Donald of Jacksonville have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Feb. 24, 1952. She is the former June Ernestine LeDuke and a retired office manager for Trane Co. of Little Rock. He is a retired office manager for Norfolk and Southern Railway. They are the parents of Timothy E. Mc-Donald of Little Rock, Thomas R. McDonald of North Little Rock and the late Michael K. McDonald. The couple have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
REDFIELD - Mary and Jerry Spann will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. March 4 in the Fellowship Hall at Orion Missionary Baptist Church. The couple were married March 27, 1962. She is the former Mary Drew. He retired from 3M Little Rock. They are the parents of Romona Jackson and Jerry Spann, both also of Redfield, Jeannette Minyard of Lonsdale and the late Mary D. Spann. The couple have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
