ARLINGTON, Texas — Arkansas held off Kansas State for a 29-16 victory to take the 76th annual AT&T Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium.

The Razorbacks (11-2), ranked 6th in the Bowl Championship Series, led 19-9 at halftime after racing out to a 13-0 lead in the first half thanks to two Zach Hocker field goals and a 51-yard punt return touchdown by Joe Adams.

Tyler Wilson got going in the second half, throwing touchdown passes to Jarius Wright — who broke the school record for receiving yardage on the play — and Cobi Hamilton. Wilson finished 20-for-31 passing for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wright capped his Arkansas career with 3 catches for 88 yards and a score.

The no. 8-ranked Wildcats (10-3) got back within three at 19-16 on a Collin Klein 6-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but Arkansas answered with Wilson's 9-yard scoring strike to Hamilton and would not let Kansas State get any closer.

Awesome season! GO Hogs! The anouncers were horrible and must not have done any research on us. Kansas was down the whole time and they could talk about was their toughness. I muted it. Congrats on the win!

The announcers ate dinner with the Wilcats and had great conversations about the character of the players, which is great. But why not dine with the Hog players as well? Fox must broadcast all of the Big-12 games, because they knew everything about the K-State players and very little about the Hogs. Arkansas was an 8-point favorite and nobody on the telecast thought they would win! Go figure.

You guys are right.........the announcers were not worthy of doing the Cotton Bowl. If the Cotton Bowl continues to have Fox do the broadcast, they better re-think who is doing the play by play and color......that was the only thing not first class about the whole thing......oh well........Great win by Hogs.........I'm not letting the Fox idiots ruin a great game and season........Go Hogs !!!

Turned off the sound and enjoyed the game! Announcers raved about Kansas State even though ARKANSAS was winning!

Great Season! Defense REALLY stepped it up. I agree the announcers were anti-Arkansas. We never seem to get any respect from the announcers.
