Fry, chief of staff for three congressmen, dies

Ed Fry, who served as chief of staff to three congressmen in Arkansas' 2nd District, has died.
He passed away Thursday night after a battle with cancer, Roby Brock first reported.
Fry served as chief of staff to three 2nd District congressman — Vic Snyder, Ray Thornton and Tommy Robinson. When Robinson turned Republican, Fry resigned and returned to Little Rock.
He was chief of staff to Snyder since the Democrat was first elected to Congress in 1996.
After retiring in 2007, Fry became director of government relations at James Lee Witt Associates.
