Extended kayaking trip offered by outfitters

HOT SPRINGS — A three-day, two-night kayaking trip is set for Feb. 3-5 at Lake Ouachita. Participants can hear about the history of the Lake Ouachita area and take in the natural flora and fauna of an island in the lake while guides set up camp.
Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters’ venture will also offer attendees a chance to explore Lake Ouachita island, take a swim in the lake, play bocce ball, take a moonlit star-gazing paddle after dinner or lounge around a campfire.
