LITTLE ROCK Governor Mike Beebe has ordered that both the Arkansas and United States flags be flown at half-staff on Friday to honor a fallen Arkansas soldier.
The flags will be lowered to remember Sgt. First Class Benjamin B. Wise, of El Dorado, who passed away earlier this month from wounds and injuries suffered while serving with the United States Army Special Forces in Afghanistan's Balkh Province.
Wise passed away in Landstuhl, Germany, where he had been recovering.
