CLINTON Authorities have sent a human leg bone to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory.
Little Rock television station KARK reported that a dog found the bone in Clinton last week. The dog’s owner called police, who took the bone to a hospital. An emergency room doctor determined it was the right femur of a man who was about six feet tall.
Police brought in cadaver dogs to search for more remains, but none were found.
Authorities also checked local cemeteries but didn’t find any disturbed gravesites.
