100 YEARS AGO Jan. 30, 1912 The danger to the “innocent bystander” from the promiscuous discharge of firearms within the city limits was fully demonstrated yesterday at the city hall. An officer on Broadway took a long, quivering shot at a dog at a range of a few feet.
