LITTLE ROCK — Wedding vows were exchanged by Courtney Elizabeth Kell and Paul Becton III, who goes by Trey, at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 30, in Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. The Rev. Carness Vaughan officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Gina and Herbert Wilson Kell Jr. of Rogers. Her grandparents are Betty Sue and Wilson Kell of Marianna and Marge and John Heck of Easton, Md.
Parents of the groom are Dr. Paul and the late Melissa Becton of Paragould. He is the grandson of Raymond and the late Marylene Digby and the late Mary Lee and Paul Becton, all of Little Rock.
An arrangement of pink, green and yellow wedding flowers decorated the altar. Music was by pianist Les Oliver, vocalists Vicki Vasser and Bill Barnett and the Class Act String Quartet.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk-taffeta gown with a sweetheart bodice of ivory lace. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pale yellow stock, blush roses, miniature green hydrangeas and ivory peonies.
Maggie Kell of Rogers served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cara Rochelle of Galveston, Texas; Ashley Kimberling of Columbia, Mo.; Claire Ulmer of Texarkana, Texas; Jordan Wright and Jamie Glancy, both of Little Rock; and Lindsey Philpott of Waco, Texas.
They wore navy blue strapless chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of hydrangeas, roses, stock and peonies.
Caroline Philpott of Waco was a flower girl.
Serving as the groom’s honor attendants were Ryan Belcher of Little Rock and Luke Fries of Yasothon, Thailand. Groomsmen were Will Roth, Tripp Hollowell and Cody Kees, all of Fayetteville; Grant Killion of Tulsa; and John Robert Bizzell and Justin Sowder, both also of Little Rock.
Guests were seated by Nick Reynolds of Fayetteville and Ryan Mattiza of Rogers.
A tented reception at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks in Fayetteville followed the ceremony. Long guest tables were covered in navy and white striped cloths and held vintage sewing machine drawers filled with pink, yellow and green flowers. Music for the couple’s first dance was sung by Way Abernathy of Fayetteville.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She is an associate development officer at Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the university, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma. He is a medical student at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
The couple will live in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Santorini, Greece.
