— Katharyn Rachel Hope and Christopher Bryant Arnold exchanged marriage vows at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 30, in St. James United Methodist Church. Officiating were the Rev. Greg Schick of St. James and the Rev. Karen Akin of Second Presbyterian Church.

Parents of the bride are Mary Katharyn and Ronald Arthur Hope, 5 Ken Circle. Her grandparents are Barbara and Arthur Virgil Hope of Little Rock and Avon Howell and the late William Howell, both of Stuttgart.

The groom is the son of Sage and Joe Arnold, 14010 Napoleon Road. His grandparents are the late Ruth and Isaac Bryant Arnold of Fayetteville, the late William Horner and the late Dorothy Horner of New Jersey.

The chancel held a towering arrangement of hybrid delphinium, foxtail lilies, hydrangeas, Oriental lilies and roses in white, pale pink and green. Music was by organist Robert Lindley, vocalist Cassie Ballew and harpist Frances Grace Cobb. Acolytes were Helen and Olivia Hope of Little Rock, cousins of the bride.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless ball gown of ivory satin with a pleated bodice and full skirt. She carried roses, hydrangeas, freesia, gardenias, peonies and stephanotis in white, cream and ivory.

Laura Anderson Hope of Little Rock was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Penick, Sarah Kurrus, Allyson Pittman, Lindsey Shindler, Aaryn Wooldridge, Margaret Parke, Lucy Speed and Libby Arnold, sister of the groom, all of Little Rock; and Emily Rappold of Nashville, Tenn.

They wore floor-length taffeta dresses with pleated bodices, shirred Empire waists and full skirts in marine blue. They carried nosegays of peonies, roses and stock.

Best man was Justin Marcus Richards of Maumelle. Groomsmen were Andy Villemez of Cincinnati; John Arthur Hope, brother of the bride, Peter Liu, Matt Holliman, Brandon Smith, Spencer Lucker and Clay Bemberg, all of Little Rock; Matthew Gutierrez of New York; and Chad Berry of Jackson, Miss. Guests were seated by Adam Hope of Little Rock, cousin of the bride.

A reception in the atrium of Pavilion in the Park was illuminated with antique chandeliers and candlelight from lanterns, votive candles and floating candles. The buffet and guest tables were centered with a mix of pink and white peonies, orchids, hydrangeas, and garden roses in crystal and silver containers. Music was by Brenda and Ellis.

The bride graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She also received a master’s degree in accounting from the university and served as president of Pi Beta Phi. She is a certified public accountant at Hudson, Cisne and Co.

The groom graduated cum laude from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the university with a degree in accounting. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He is a third-year law student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law and is employed with Quality Petroleum in North Little Rock.

After a wedding trip to Bermuda, the couple will live in Little Rock.
