Man stabbed to death in Texarkana

Authorities have a woman in custody after a Sunday afternoon stabbing incident that resulted in a homicide.
According to a release from the Texarkana Police Department, officers responded to an assistance call to the Beacon Point Apartments, 2301 Arkansas Blvd., at 12:30 p.m. after a man was discovered with multiple cuts and lacerations to his body. The man, Lane Denney, 26, was later to Wadley Hospital were he later died.
As a result of their investigation, officers later apprehended Simone Miller, 20, and arrested her on charges of tampering with evidence and fleeing.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be made available as it is uncovered.
