— North Little Rock police are on the scene of a purported robbery at the Bank of the Ozarks branch on East McCain Boulevard.

North Little Rock Police Department spokesman Sgt. Brian Dedrick tells the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that a black male, between 6-0 and 6-1 with a slender build walked into the bank, located at 4420 E. McCain Blvd and demanded money and implied that he had a gun.

The suspect took the unknown amount of cash and fled eastbound on McCain in a black Toyota Camry.

The suspect was said to be wearing a white hat, white shirt and blue jeans. The white shirt is said to have writing on it.
