— Teen’s shooting called accidental

A 15-year-old Little Rock girl was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital after her 17-year-old brother accidentally shot her Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

At 12:46 p.m., Little Rock police responded to reports of a drive-by shooting at 6616 Juniper Road, police spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said.

Responding officers learned the girl’s brother accidentally fired the gun and the bullet entered her neck and jaw, Davis said.

The girl was listed in critical condition Tuesday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesman.

Davis said police are investigating why the two had the gun.

The names of the teens were not released Tuesday.

Davis said it is likely the boy told officers it was a drive-by shooting to keep from getting into trouble.

No charges have been filed.

Robinson and Deal also were charged in the July 4 armed robbery of two men outside their residence at 1713 Kavanaugh Blvd., reports state.

In total, Robinson and Deal were charged with seven counts of aggravated robbery, one count for each victim; four counts of theft of property; and one count each of kidnapping, aggravated residential burglary and carrying a weapon.

Robinson also was charged with resisting arrest and Deal was charged with fleeing.

Ferguson, who was not charged in the robberies, was charged with two counts of second-degree battery, and one count each of aggravated assault, carrying a weapon and resisting arrest.

Robinson, who was 17 at the time of his arrest and is now 18, was charged as an adult, according to the prosecuting attorney’s office.

All three men were being held Tuesday night at the Pulaski County jail. Bail information was not available.
