LITTLE ROCK TODAY Business After Hours MORRILTON - A Business After Hours will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. at La-De-Da, 2 Davis Drive. La-De-Da and I Made It For You will team up to host the event. FRIDAY AARP Driver Safety Class HEBER SPRINGS - An AARP Driver Safety Program class will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Administration/Student Services Building at Arkansas State University-Heber Springs. For anyone who has worked in an educational institution, the fee for the course is $5. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY Singing Convention GREENBRIER - The 134th annual session of the Faulkner County Singing Convention will be held at LifeSong Baptist Church in Greenbrier at 7 p.m. Friday and at 10 a.m. Saturday. SUNDAY Free Concert CONWAY - Arkansas musicians Michelle Jean and Jamie Bosanko will perform at 2 p.m. at the Faulkner County Library. The duo will sing songs of love, loss and grace to uplift the spirit and feed the soul. The free event is open to the public. MONDAY Audubon Society Meeting CONWAY - The Arkansas River Valley Audubon Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Faulkner County Library in Conway. ONGOING First Baptist Church Services MAUMELLE - Pastor Tony Auxier invites the community to attend services and activities at First Baptist Church Maumelle. Each Sunday morning, a worship service is held at 10:15 in the Sanctuary. Now through August, Auxier’s sermon topics will be from the Gospel of Mark. Bible classes for all age groups meet at 9 a.m. Sundays. At 5 p.m. Sundays, Auxier will continue the study on the struggles of the prophet Jeremiah. A dinner and fellowship are held at 5 p.m. each Wednesday in the Activities Building. Adult Softball Registration RUSSELLVILLE - The Russellville Recreation and Parks Department is registering teams for the Adult Fall Softball League until 5 p.m. July 27. Teams that register must pay the entry fee and submit an entry form and a team roster. Master Gardeners Applications CONWAY - The Faulkner County Master Gardeners are taking applications for the fall training class that will begin Sept. 11. Participants will join the group for projects such as the gardens at the libraries, the museum and the courthouse, as well as the Legacy Garden at the Faulkner County Natural Resource Center on Amity Road.
