Laman to display Fay Jones’ works

A display of architect Fay Jones’ works will be on exhibit at Laman Library, 2801 Orange St., from Friday through Aug. 25

The exhibit, “Outside the Pale: The Architecture of Fay Jones,” is on loan from the Old State House Museum. It will also contain additional artifacts and objects from Special Collections at the Universityof Arkansas Libraries in Fayetteville.

“We chose to bring this exhibit to North Little Rock to help showcase our plaza’s gazebo that was designed by Jones in the early ’70s,” said Jeff Baskin, Laman Library’s executive director. “Most know of the significant contributions Jones made to architecture, but few know that we have a fine example of his work right here in our own community.”

Admission is free and open to the public.
