Arkansas home prices rose 8.7 percent in June and home sales were basically unchanged compared with June last year, the Arkansas Realtors Association said Tuesday.
The average home price was $160,980 in June, up from $148,967 in June last year. There were 2,353 homes sold in the 43-county area covered in the association’s statistics, up slightly from 2,349 in June 2011.
The association also released May home sales figures on Tuesday, which had been delayed because of staffing. Sales in May were up 7.3 percent over May 2011.
