North Little Rock police officers on patrol early Wednesday morning found two men shot near the Silver City Courts housing complex.
While searching the area just past midnight after hearing multiple gunshots, officers saw a vehicle stopped in the road at 2000 Percy Machin Drive, police said. Inside the vehicle, they found two black males with gunshot wounds.
One of the men was taken to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock and was in critical condition Wednesday morning. The other shooting victim was transported to St. Vincent Medical Center and was listed in serious condition. The two were shot at 18th and Allen streets, police said.
The victims’ names weren’t being released pending the notification of family, and the investigation was ongoing Wednesday morning.
