UA alumni board adds 6 members

The Arkansas Alumni Associated Board of Directors announced six new members Wednesday, with John C. Reap named the incoming president.

The 33-member board oversees programs to connect and serve the University of Arkansas family, a release from the university states.

Reap, a Little Rock native and a graduate of the Sam M. Walton College of Business, has been a member of the Dallas chapter of the board since 2004, according to the university.

The six new board members are Kenneth B. Biesterveld of Bentonville; John W. Cole of Springdale; Teena Gunter of Oklahoma City; Sharon Hunt of Fayetteville; William L. Kerr of Tampa, Fla.; and Joel G. Wood of Germantown, Tenn.

Board members elected to serve seconds terms were John L. Colbert of Fayetteville; Rita Geiger of Oklahoma City; and H. Terry Rasco of Little Rock and Stephanie Streett, both of Little Rock.
