Aug. 3 at the William F. Laman Public Library, 2801 Orange St., North Little Rock. This year’s party will feature a Yarnell’s ice cream truck, the Kiddie Train, animals from the Museum of Discovery, chalk art, police and fire vehicles and stilt-wearing balloon-makers, as well as chances to win prizes, including an iPad2 or an Xbox Kinect. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Marshall Mitchell will perform music for the wee ones and at 7 p.m.
