Replacement of a deteriorated underground storm drainage structure will require the closure of Vimy Ridge Road between Alexander Road and County Line Road on Friday and Saturday, the Little Rock Public Works Department announced.
The temporary closure starts 9 a.m. Friday and is scheduled to last through Saturday. The department advises drivers in southwest Little Rock and south-central Pulaski County seek alternate routes such as Sardis Road to the east and I-30 to the west.
Barricades and detour signs will be put up during the temporary closure, and the department suggests drivers allow extra time to reach their destinations.
