LITTLE ROCK — Routine inspections of the Springhill overpass will require the closing of certain lanes on Interstate 40 next week.
A release from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department explained the procedure, which will occur Wednesday, Aug. 1, through Thursday, Aug. 2.
The closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on those days, weather permitting. The lanes closed will be the westbound, inside lane of I-40 in North Little Rock.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution when traveling through those area at that time.
