Ozarka College-Mountain View to unveil amphitheater Tuesday

— Ozarka College-Mountain View invites the community to a ribbon-cutting of the college’s newly constructed amphitheater from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Local artists The Cobb Brothers and Pam Setser and Danny Dozier will provide musical entertainment, and Centennial Bank of Mountain View will provide refreshments.

Construction on the amphitheater began in early spring and was made possible by a grant from the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council and by donations from community members.

The amphitheater seats 150 and is available for use by the college and the community. Ozarka College will utilize the facility for performing arts and concerts, and also for guest speakers and outdoor classroom experiences, student organizational meetings, lectures and other campus events.
