Rail workers find body at LR tracks

LITTLE ROCK — Railroad workers found a body along the tracks near the 3300 block of South Woodrow Street early Saturday morning while spraying for weeds, Little Rock police said.

Police responded to the call about 10:39 a.m.

Decomposition had already begun, so identification could take at least a day or more, officials said.

Detectives did not have a cause of death Saturday and could not say how long the body had been at the location or whether the location is a crime scene.
