Grandma’s punch bowl: Dug out, dusted off, filled with favorites

Somewhere in your home sits a precious glass piece.

Maybe it nests in newspaper up in the attic. Maybe it sleeps on a seldom seen closet shelf. Or it broods in the back of a storage shed.

The last one — for shame — is where I discovered my grandmother Kit’s proud cut glass punch bowl, ladle and cups, still in pristine condition, while packing for a recent move, writes Jennifer Christman.

Having reunited with the sentimental heirloom, I felt the need to celebrate. With some appropriately fruity and fizzy elixirs.
