Where I live: My husband, Randy, and I decided to downsize and now live in a patio home in Hunters Green with our standard poodle, Walker.

Occupation: I am an artist with studio space at Art Studios 221, which is on the second floor above Gallery 221 in the Pyramid Building in downtown Little Rock. It’s a beautiful place to create with a view of the Stephens Building, the Old State House and trolleys passing by in the heart of downtown Little Rock.

My favorite space: Our sunroom.

Why? It’s where we watch television, listen to music, read and enjoy a see-through fireplace that connects to our living room. When we have family and friends over for dinner, the sunroom turns into a dining room. Luckily my furniture is easy to move around and the table opens up to full size. I love to collect artworks and one of my favorite pieces is a large glass sculpture by James Hayes. Every piece of pottery and every painting is original and has a story behind it.

If I could do one thing to improve this space, I would: Like to add on a permanent dining room.
