Authorities say, Andre Thompson, 27, was shot once in the upper left chest. He was found by a passerby shortly before 12:45 a.m. on Mabelvale Pike near Gum Springs Road.

Little Rock Police Department Lt. Terry Hastings said police do not have a motive or any suspects in the killing.

"Detectives are working the case this morning trying to answer these questions," Hastings said in a statement, adding no additional details are available.
